The National Black Caucus of State Legislators (NBCSL) is the premier bipartisan organization dedicated to empowering African American state legislators across the country.
With over 700 members who unite the voices of more than 50 million African Americans, NBCSL is a dynamic network that drives public policy innovation, fosters information exchange, and champions collaborative action on key issues impacting African Americans and other underserved populations.
Through research, resolutions and model legislation, NBCSL strengthens its members and helps them remain effective and influential voices within their states and on Capitol Hill.
