Juveniles: Sealing Records
Law, Justice, and Ethics (LJE) Committee
This law expands opportunities for juveniles to seal or expunge their criminal records after completing their sentences or probation. It simplifies the process and reduces barriers to having juvenile records sealed, recognizing that youthful mistakes shouldn’t permanently limit opportunities for employment, education, and housing.
