Join Us for the 48th Annual NBCSL Legislative Conference on December 2-7, 2024, in Washington, D.C.
This event is dedicated to addressing the pressing issues facing our communities and shaping the future of our nation. This year’s theme, “Rebuilding the American Dream,” will guide critical conversations and serve as a call to action for state legislators to address the rise of inequality and the numerous barriers Black Americans encounter in pursuit of success. Though everyone’s definition of success differs, the trend of downward mobility so many Black people experience is all too common. Determining how to rebuild the American Dream so it’s accessible to all will be our focus.
