Shenika Thomas is currently a committee clerk for the Alabama House of Representatives. She has served in roles such as the Assistant Director of Authentications, Trademarks, and Government Support for the Alabama Secretary of State’s office under the leadership of Secretary John Merrill and Secretary Wes Allen. She also serves as a certified public manager, where she serves on the board of directors for the Alabama Society of Certified Public Managers.

She is a graduate of Selma High School in Selma, AL. She is also an alumnus of DeVry University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Shenika aims to pursue a master’s degree from Keller University in Leadership and Public Policy. Outside of her legislative duties, she is the mom of three beautiful and intelligent young men, Kylan, Kaleb, and Kyson. She is very active in her faith and wishes to leave a legacy of serving others with a helper’s heart.
