State Sen. Raumesh Akbari among 17 ‘rising stars’ to give Democratic National Convention keynote
State Sen. Raumesh Akbari will be among 17 “rising stars” to give a joint keynote speech at the mostly virtual 2020 Democratic National Convention, according to campaign officials for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
The theme of this year’s convention will be “Leadership Matters,” and each speaker will share their vision for a future of America under Biden.
